not that interesting

I haven't posted bc I'm not that interesting lol 
I guess we aren't going to be Gate Guards. Rikki is only 15 & they can't let her behind the gate since she's not licensed and she can't be licensed until she's an adult. No way can we leave her, she's not even done being raised yet!
Cooper is 17 months old now. Landen is 8 months. They are getting so big and changing so much! Lori watches Landen since he only lives a few blocks from her. It's easier for them time/gas. We still get them on Saturdays. I am happy my sister gets to babysit. She wants to spend time with them. Rachel is really good about letting her spend time with Landen and that means a lot to her. She loves her great nephews <3
Shane has been staying with us for a while now and he put carpet in the rec room. It looks really nice!! He did not have to do that at all but I have to say, it needed it! We have high traffic and it was pretty stained up. Hopefully Rick & I can do the living room soon! They did patch up the burn from Nikki's snake light in the living room and put a piece of carpet from the new carpet in between the couches to cover up most of the stains. Rick & I were going to wait till the kids move out and took their animals before we put carpet in but this makes me want to do it sooner! I have banned Skeeter, Ernest & Gypsy from the new carpet and since they aren't used to rules, they are confused and it hurts their feelings but they will get used to it soon enough. They are so spoiled lol
Jessica is taking her GED test today. We are so proud of her! She will get the results back in the next few weeks. She wants to go to beauty school. Now to convince Nikki to take hers! She just keeps on putting it off. She always has a reason but later on she will realize that none of them were good enough. 
I'm making quiche tonight. Can't wait! I haven't made it in a while. I always tease Shane bc he hates quiche but now I feel bad bc I'm making it. I should make him something else. Maybe he will grab something in town. Him and the girls are going somewhere tonight and will be out so they might as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to taco bell anyway, they usually do lol
Rick is looking for a better job. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. Something local for now. We do still want to go to TX to gate guard someday but not while we still have minors that depend on us. And who knows when we will be able to afford an RV. I guess it's just another dream that probably won't happen. It got so serious this time. We just thought we were going to be able to come home sooner to be with the kids. Mom & Shane were going to take care of them and we would have just sent money back and come to see them, if we had been able to get the job we wanted. We won't give up completely..maybe something will work out there.
I think I'm going to finish my book. I'm at the end. Glad it's almost done. Catches my attention but it's Danielle Steel so there is language and graphic stuff that I do not like. I won't be reading anymore of her books. She'd be a good author if she didn't have to add all that immoral stuff. She thinks her talent is wrapped around that. She'd be more talented without. JMO.
